Lovely hostel in Hakone not far from Gora station. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed our stay here. We used one of the onsen which was really nice after a busy day seeing the sights of Hakone. We also tried their pizza which was pretty good too. We stayed in a traditional tatami mat double room which was a nice experience with very comfortable futons and lovely views. Be warned, the walls are paper thin (literally) so it sounded like we were sharing a room with a very loud snorer! But we were so shattered we soon fell asleep, but bring earplugs if this might bother you. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would like to come back and stay longer next time as it seemed a very sociable place to relax in the evenings and also to try the other onsen!

Awesome staff, super helpful and kind! They spoke great english and talking to them felt like talking to friends. The atmosphere of the whole place was very chilled and laid back with soothing jazzy music playing from a speaker at a comfortable volume. Would definitely go back there if I was in Hakone again!!

Very cozy facilities and all of the staff are welcoming. The futon is just heavenly. Highly recommend the breakfast. Beats a 5-star hotel any day.
