Lovely hostel in Hakone not far from Gora station.
We only stayed one night but really enjoyed our stay here. We used one of the onsen which was really nice after a busy day seeing the sights of Hakone.
We also tried their pizza which was pretty good too.
We stayed in a traditional tatami mat double room which was a nice experience with very comfortable futons and lovely views. Be warned, the walls are paper thin (literally) so it sounded like we were sharing a room with a very loud snorer! But we were so shattered we soon fell asleep, but bring earplugs if this might bother you.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would like to come back and stay longer next time as it seemed a very sociable place to relax in the evenings and also to try the other onsen!
Awesome staff, super helpful and kind! They spoke great english and talking to them felt like talking to friends. The atmosphere of the whole place was very chilled and laid back with soothing jazzy music playing from a speaker at a comfortable volume. Would definitely go back there if I was in Hakone again!!
Very cozy facilities and all of the staff are welcoming. The futon is just heavenly. Highly recommend the breakfast. Beats a 5-star hotel any day.
I loved it. They were so kind... brought my suitcase up the stairs. They have private onsen and a great bar, they have a nice sparkling sake we all enjoyed. I recommend it 100%.
Charming staff and very helpful!! The hostel itself is very clean, and has a relaxed atmosphere with live nights, a great bar and themed dinners. The food is excellent and affordable, and the facilities also include private onsens that guests are free to use. Would 100% recommend to anyone travelling in the area.
We had such a nice time staying at Hakone Tent couple of weeks ago. We were staying at the apartment with balcony, it was such a beautiful place with a nice mountain view. The staff was nice and helpful. We liked the fact that the onsen was private and easy to use. Location is excellent, it's easy to get to the museums and parks.
Loved every bit of my stay there! The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is cosy, and my God, don't even get me started on the hotsprings!
The best place I stayed out of my two month trip to Japan. Truly a hidden gem. Check it out!!!
This place was amazing. The food was great and the company was even better. I didn’t really try the onsen but it look amazing from a far. I will be back :)
Totally charming. Really nice laid back atmosphere. Staff were helpful, friendly and had great English. The food was cheap and delicious, and the communal area was cozy and friendly with a well stocked bar. Pretty much all I want in a place to stay + an Onsen thrown in for good measure! Thank you!

昨天在這住了一晚，很特別的日式住房體驗，床單什麼都很乾淨，溫泉很棒很舒服，價格便宜，整個旅點很有家的感覺但又特別別緻，最遺憾的是沒能吃到店裡的晚餐和黑啤酒（只試喝了一小口，味道很棒），加500元日幣的早餐也好吃，店員Cannon人很好是台灣人，很熱心也很健談，一定會推薦朋友去，下次再去箱根也會再去，大推推！！！！
12月中旬に一人で伺いました。
相部屋のルームメイトにも恵まれ、素敵な時間を過ごせました。
バーで一人で食事している時にスタッフの方々が気さくに話しかけて下さったことが嬉しかった。
朝のクラムチャウダーも美味しかったです。
箱根に行く際は必ず宿泊したい宿です。
